Made some homemade salsa and jarred it up for future use. The last time I did this it didnt last long before we ate it.
The tomatoes need to be put in boiling water for a couple minutes then dropped in icewater to shed the peel. Some are easier than others to blanch the peel off. Then core the tomatoes using an apple corer is easiest for me.
Cook it down a little and water bath it boiling for 15 minutes.
